The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) serves the public as a trusted partner and steward, dedicated to advancing health equity, expanding coverage, and improving health outcomes for all beneficiaries. In fact, CMS works in partnership with the entire health care community to improve health outcomes. To that end, CMS is implementing initiatives such as the Framework for Health Equity and aligning priorities with new legislations to create synergies across the health care system to drive innovation and structural change. This panel will explore how CMS is strengthening the provider, beneficiary and payer user experiences by implementing on-going priorities such as the Inflation Reduction Act, Health Equity Framework, No Surprises Act, and Consolidated Appropriation Act ("Unwinding").
Panelists will discuss how CMS leaders are making more informed policy decisions based on data, as well as improving the collection and management of data to identify and eliminate barriers to CMS-supported benefits, services, and coverage.
