David Young is a laboratory scientist specializing in microbiology. He currently serves as the Division Director of Information Assurance and Informatics for the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Health Security, where he supports ongoing ICE’s enforcement activities.

His previous federal assignments have included roles with ICE, the U.S. Coast Guard, and the U.S. Air Force.

David holds a Doctorate degree from Oklahoma State University, a Master's degree from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
