Elizabeth (Beth) Parish is the Acting Deputy Director for Operations in CCIIO. In this acting role, she leads 500 Federal staff and thousands of contracted personnel to support the enrollment of millions of Americans in private health insurance coverage and the implementation of the No Suprises Act.
She is the Director of the Payment Policy and Financial Management Group (PPFMG), where she oversees marketplace payment policy, operations and data, and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of billions of dollars in payments.
Prior to her role in PPFMG, Beth led critical implementations in a variety of leadership roles since joining CCIIO in 2011, including the first year of certifying Qualified Health Plans for sale on the Marketplace, Form 1095-A generation and corrections, IRS reporting, and the Policy Based Payment system that makes subsidy payments to Marketplace issuers each month.
Before joining CMS, Beth was an engagement manager at McKinsey and Company working with health insurance issuers.
Beth is a graduate of Princeton University and the UVA Darden School of Business.
