The Defense Health Agency (DHA) leadership is tasked with optimizing the Military Health System (MHS) to support the Combatant Commands and Joint Forces in competition, crisis, and/or conflict. The MHS faces challenges that are unique to military medicine, yet reflective of the larger healthcare ecosystem. To that end, DHA is transitioning military health care into a more person-centric and integrated system that provides greater value to DHA’s 9.6 million beneficiaries while maintaining medical readiness. This means leveraging scientific and technological advancements, expanding partnerships, and adopting new models of health and wellness to optimize the health and care experience.
The adoption of new and emerging technology will accelerate transformative innovation throughout the DHA enterprise, providing scalable and agile capabilities for the agency to address the needs and requirements of all stakeholders: commanders, service members, their families, partners and staff.
Join this session to hear Military Health leaders discuss how their strategic IT initiatives align with Combat Support, Healthcare Delivery, and Enterprise Support to modernize and optimize internal systems, and continue to deliver on their obligations to service members and their families, and our nation.
