Join AFCEA Bethesda on June 22nd for a luncheon honoring our 2023 InnovateIT award recipients! AFCEA Bethesda’s InnovateIT Awards program recognizes individuals and agencies in the federal civilian space that have demonstrated an ability to drive tangible results through their leadership skills and innovative thinking.

This year, we have chosen six individuals and/or teams that have demonstrated exceptional work in federal IT to receive these honors:

• One individual or team that has improved the digital experience markedly for their government customers. 
• One individual or team that has made a concerted effort to increase diversity, inclusion, and accessibility within their workforce. 
• One individual or team that has driven innovation and efficiency while enhancing the customer experience by leveraging multi-cloud infrastructures, collaboration technology, and secure cloud-native development.
• Two individuals – one in government and one in private industry – who will be named Innovation Leader of the Year for their efforts to embrace innovation in the form of security, automation, and modernization to advance their agency's or partner agency's mission.

Additionally, the program will recognize the Emerging Government Leader of the Year – an individual under the age of 40 who has exemplified outstanding leadership early in their career, spearheaded successful IT initiatives, and achieved extraordinary results.
