Anita Allen, Small Business Specialist, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Anita has over 33 years of Government Service. She served as a Contract Specialist (CS) and Contracting
Officer (CO) at USDA Agriculture Research Service and Social Security Administration for almost 18
years. She joined HHS as a Small Business Specialist in 2007 and currently supports the Centers for
Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and National Institute of Health (NIH), which includes National
Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI.) She also supported
HRSA, PSC/OAMS, and FDA during her 15 years at HHS.
