Kathy has worked in CPI for over 13 years and in DASG as the Group Deputy Director for 10 years. She worked in DASG continuing to make sure the Group provides the support needed to combat fraud, waste, and abuse. Also, Kathy has been instrumental in overseeing and leading the group in projects such as the Fraud Prevention System, the Unified Case Management System, the Advanced Provider Screening, Tiger Team, and analytics work.
Prior to coming to CMS, Kathy worked in the private sector in the Information Technology field. She has performed in roles as IT Networking Manager, IT Software developer and IT Program Manager, leading IT software development programs. She has also managed IT Product teams for major companies, overseeing their budgets and work products.
Kathy holds a BS degree in Computer Science and a Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute.
