Robyn serves as the Assistant Deputy Chief Information Officer (ADCIO) and Division of Information and Technology Management Director for the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition. Ms.Barringer possesses more than 17 years of strategic IT leadership, technology management, and innovative solution-oriented technology implementation expertise spanning both federal and private sectors.
Robyn has established the FDA CFSAN Digital Business Strategy and corresponding Cloud adoption plan to modernize an aging and siloed application portfolio. As one of the first FDA ADCIO’s to leverage FEDRAMP cloud services and implement strategic cloud acquisitions, she established a renewable blueprint for legacy to cloud adoption to fast-track cost effective modernization efforts. Robyn has also developed an FDA Foods enterprise information exchange to address challenges in data collaboration and analysis with the food industry, public/private entities and academic institutions.
Robyn holds a master’s degree in Executive Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Applied Mathematics from the University of North Carolina Fayetteville State. Robyn has been recognized for the FDA CIO’s Award of Excellence, FDA Leveraging Collaboration as well as the HHS Strategic Leader’s Award of Leveraging Excellence in Acquisition Development.
