Themed based on books by well-known authors, our ProDev: Women in Leadership panels focus on topic areas similar to the books after which they are named.

During this year’s panel discussion for women in leadership, we will be discussing the challenges and successes of being a woman in leadership in the Federal Government. We will dig into what it means to be a female leader in a male-dominated industry.

Our first panel, titled “Dare to Lead” after the book by Brené Brown will focus on how we, as women, use our voice to work through challenges, speak our mind, and speak up to be heard.

Our second panel, titled “This Is How We Rise” after the book by Claudia Chan, will focus on the rise to leadership and what that means. We hope to foster a strong conversation about rising into leadership positions, what got us there, and how we continue to move forward despite challenges and difficulties.
