Patrick Sisk is a Senior Contracting Officer at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in the Office of Finance and Procurement. In this role, he holds an unlimited contracting warrant and serves as a strategic advisor to CFPB program offices to reduce duplication, speed up procurement lead times, and efficiently allocate agency resources. Sisk oversees several multimillion-dollar bureau initiatives. He strives to achieve “win-win-win” outcomes on every procurement, for the agency, vendor, and taxpayer. In 2023, Mr. Sisk was recognized with CFPB’s highest honor, the Director’s Mission Achievement Award, for his work on the agency’s Future of Work initiative.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Sisk was a Contracting Officer and Program Manager with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with an operational focus on large-dollar, complex, information technology (IT) procurements.

He began his public sector service in 2010 with the Department of the Navy as a Contract Specialist, predominantly acquiring research and development (R&D) and weapons systems. During his tenure, he collaborated on procurements with National Science Foundation (NSF), U.S. Air Force (USAF), Army, Marines, and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). Mr. Sisk was admitted to the 2014 Brookings Legis Congressional Fellowship class but had to decline due to sequestration (bummer!).

Before government service, Mr. Sisk was a Portfolio Funds Analyst with a financial services company in Baltimore, MD.

Mr. Sisk earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Minor in Spanish from Loyola College in Maryland (now Loyola University) along with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Arts (MA) in Human Resource Management from Marymount University and a Certificate of Legislative Studies from the Government Affairs Institute (GAI) at Georgetown University. He is an American Council for Technology – Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) Fellow, Alum of the 2017 Voyagers Program, and Government Co-Chair and Chair of the 2020 and 2021 Voyagers classes, respectively. He is certified Level III Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC) in Contracting and as Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
