Jason Smith is an experienced and accomplished Web and Applications Services Manager at NASA with a Bachelor's degree in Education and an MBA in Information Technology. He has over 17 years of federal work experience, 6 of which were at NASA. He is a core member of several Agency-level working groups and boards, and he has played a key role in the modernization of NASA's web presence. He is also an ACT-IAC Fellow and Voyagers 2020 graduate.
In his current role, Jason is responsible for managing NASA's Application and Web Portfolio maintenance across multiple centers. He is a leading figure in the Agency's application rationalization effort, which is helping to improve efficiency and simplify the portfolio complexity. Jason is also a skilled project manager and has worked on a variety of Agency IT projects, including the nasa.gov and science.nasa.gov web modernization teams.
