Ryan Hoesing joined the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) team within the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) in December 2016 as a business analyst with the goal of finding and building out more efficiencies in the FedRAMP A&A processes.
Ryan leads FedRAMP’s Customer Success Team which manages customer engagement between agencies and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). Ryan is responsible for monitoring authorization timelines and the FedRAMP Marketplace ensuring agencies and CSPs have the guidance they need to successfully complete the FedRAMP Authorization process.
Ryan also runs FedRAMP’s Agency Liaison program educating agencies on new FedRAMP initiatives as well as training the liaisons on all FedRAMP processes.
Before joining the FedRAMP PMO, Ryan served as the executive assistant for GSA senior leadership gaining experience and knowledge of how the GSA C-Suite functions and operates. Prior to joining GSA, Ryan served two and a half years in the United States Peace Corps in Benin, West Africa as a community economic volunteer leading a variety of projects ranging from business entrepreneurial courses for high school students to creating rabbit raising farms for local communities. Ryan has demonstrated proven leadership skills in strategy and business development that he now uses in his current role with the FedRAMP Program Management Office (PMO).
Ryan holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is an avid Nebraska football fan. In 2019, Ryan completed his M.S. in Cybersecurity Management and Policy. Additionally to his role as Customer Success Manager, Ryan is a Contract Officer’s Representative Level III and helps guide internal acquisition and business strategies for the PMO.
