Adrienne Barge is a Customer Engagement & Data Management Lead at the Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Inspector General (OIG). Applying user-centered design principles, Adrienne improves the process of accessing mission data for auditors, evaluators, and investigators. After joining HHS OIG in 2019, she led various IT modernization projects including developing Data Workbench, a new cloud data platform for the agency. Previously she spent 10 years in the Homeland Security community serving in various roles such as the Product Owner for the DHS Technology Reference Model, managed critical infrastructure sector outreach and engagement activities with external partners, and provided onsite IT support during Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria with FEMA at a disaster response call center. Adrienne began her federal career at the Department of Labor in the Office of the Secretary. Even though she is a very proud 6th generation Texan, she happily resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her two children.
