Samuel S. Lee’s professional experience spans the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Sam has led teams, projects, and programs across the entire program lifecycle- ranging from strategy and program design, policy, implementation of technology and innovation, through to monitoring & evaluation of impact. Sam’s sectoral work in the international development and social impact space includes health, water & sanitation, transportation, governance, and financial inclusion.
Currently, Sam leads the Millennium Challenge Corporation’s Data & Analytics program which aims to catalyze data-driven decision making through the capture, storage, analysis, publishing, and governance of MCC’s core programmatic data. Established by Congress in 2004, MCC provides time-limited grants to countries that share our values- promoting economic growth, reducing poverty, and strengthening institutions.
Sam holds a Master's in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Political Science from Rutgers College in New Jersey.
