Event Description

Federal agencies are working to align their initiatives with the White House’s Management Agenda and deliver on the promise of an “equitable, effective, and accountable federal government that delivers results for all.” By harnessing the power of innovation and the collective mindshare of those in government and industry, these benchmarks may be achieved, resulting in citizen services that are simple, accessible, and secure.

The Senior Executive Roundtables

At AFCEA Emerging Leaders’ 15th Annual Senior Government Executive Forum, the organization will bring together thought leaders from across government and industry to share and collaborate with colleagues about successes and lessons learned. Participants will have the opportunity to share new ideas and discuss trending topics, with emphasis on:

—  Digital Transformation and Customer Experience
—  IT Modernization and Cloud Migration
—  Cybersecurity and Zero Trust
—  Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence

Through utilizing new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, and machine learning, in partnership with opportunities for digital transformation and IT modernization, leaders across government and industry can create environments that encourage innovation and lay the foundation for realizing the vision for the futureall while maintaining a strong cybersecurity posture!)

Together, members of industry and government will explore how they can bring about changes—both big and small—to the federal space to improve programs and services.

The InnovateIT Awards

Two awards will be given in the areas of mission, service, and stewardship—one to
a senior government leader and one to an emerging government leader. Additionally,
the program will recognize Outstanding Civilian Leader of the Year and Outstanding Industry Leader of the Year who have exemplified outstanding management to achieve efficiencies and effectiveness and provided leadership to spearhead IT initiatives that have delivered extraordinary results.
Proceeds from the SGE Dinner will support the AFCEA Bethesda STEM Scholarship Fund
