AFCEA Bethesda Emerging Leaders ProDev:
Fostering Inclusion in the Workplace: Understanding Generational and Communication Differences

The 2022 DEI&A ProDev installation, “Fostering Inclusion in the Workplace: Understanding Generational and Communication Differences” will allow attendees to engage with their peers and experts to understand challenges and identify innovative solutions for the intentional management of a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible federal workforce. We will have two panels followed by a Q&A session to dig deeper into how the federal workspace can actively foster a better sense of belonging. These discussions will positively impact the achievement of desired business results due to the understanding of diverse environments.

The first panel “Understanding Communication Styles” will explore the power of communication styles to better align workflows and highlight individuals’ communication strengths and differences. Our second panel “Bridging the Generational Gap” will discuss the unique perspective each generation brings to the workplace and the importance of bridging generational gaps to ensure robust outcomes.
