Mr. Le began his FBI career in June 2005 as a special agent in the Los Angeles Field Office (LAFO), where he investigated criminal cyber intrusions, intellectual property rights violations, and Internet-enabled crimes. In September 2007, Mr. Le transferred to LAFO’s Orange County Resident Agency, where he was a member of a cyber task force responsible for all cyber matters.

In November 2011, Mr. Le was promoted to FBIHQ as a supervisory special agent to co-lead the development and deployment of Sentinel, the FBI’s mission-critical investigation and intelligence management system.

In January 2014, Mr. Le was detailed to the National Security Agency (NSA) Tailored Access Operations (TAO) on a joint duty assignment to manage the interagency partnership for computer network operations and cutting-edge technical investigations.

From October 2016 to April 2020, Mr. Le served as an assistant legal attaché in Jakarta, Indonesia, where he cultivated strategic relationships and facilitated several impactful high-profile investigations to advance multiple FBI programs and enhance U.S. foreign relations.

From May 2020 to August 2025, Mr. Le served in the Sacramento Field Office, first as a supervisor responsible for the cyber and digital forensics programs, and subsequently as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge overseeing the White Collar/Cyber/Outreach Branch.

Mr. Le earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of California, Irvine, his master’s degree in organizational leadership from Vanguard University, and his master’s degree in information technology from Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to joining the FBI, Mr. Le was a systems analyst for Vanguard University in Southern California.
