Adam Luke is the Principal Deputy Under Secretary for the Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A). Adam has over 15 years of experience in intelligence, national security, and executive leadership roles for the U.S. Government.

Adam built a career across the U.S. intelligence, law enforcement, and technology communities, developing, and scaling novel solutions to address a broad range of foreign and domestic threats to the Homeland and national security. After serving for 12 years in various intelligence roles and leading international deployments as an agent for U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Adam joined I&A as the Chief of Strategy and Policy in 2018, became the Deputy Chief of Staff in 2019, and the Chief of Staff in 2021, overseeing I&A’s policy, legislative affairs, strategic communications, and risk management portfolios.

Adam also served as the acting Deputy Under Secretary for Management, leading the Agency's financial, human capital, training, technology, and cybersecurity operations, and designing and implementing I&A's inaugural framework to integrate artificial intelligence across I&A's intelligence and business operations. Throughout his career, Adam has led a diverse array of initiatives to spur innovation, maximize and unlock new resources, and strengthen resilience during times of uncertainty and crisis. Adam has extensive experience building coalitions across the executive and legislative branches, with extensive experience with the National Security Council and Congress's Intelligence and Homeland Security Committees to design effective intelligence and security programs and innovative technology solutions across operations with national and international scope.

Adam received his B.A. in International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University.
