Hads Holmgren is the Acting Assistant Director with FBI Information Technology Applications and Data Division (ITADD), where she oversees the development of operational and business IT applications that protect and enable the FBI.
Hads previously served as the Section Chief of the Strategy and Performance Section in the Resource Planning Office, where she oversaw the Bureau's compensation and benefits budget, internal policy, and the administration of the FBI's integrated program management process.
Hads began her career in the FBI in 2006 in the Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate (WMDD). While in the WMDD, Hads was promoted to Supervisory Intelligence Analyst and overseeing the integration of tactical intelligence analysis in the production of reports, assessments, briefings, and recommended operational priorities for WMDD investigations.
In 2012, Hads joined the Criminal Investigative Division (CID) and served as the Unit Chief of the Transnational Organized Crime - Western Hemisphere Intelligence Unit. In this role, the unit led the FBI's analytical efforts to identify, target, and dismantle TOC networks related to the Western Hemisphere.
Following CID, Hads served as a Supervisory Intelligence Analyst for the FBI Denver Field Office, where she oversaw intelligence analysis supporting both the national security and criminal branches.
Prior to joining the FBI, Hads authored dozens of in-depth analytical intelligence products for senior Department of Defense leaders as an analyst at the Defense Intelligence Agency. In this role, Hads was awarded the DIA Meritorious Civilian Service Award. Hads holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University.
