Kiersten Schiliro is the Operational Technology Division’s Senior Technical Advisor focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. She has spent 19 years in OTD’s Non-Traditional Tracking Program, where she led efforts to develop and deploy novel electro-optical sensor technology, as well as adapted bureau capabilities for a breadth of field requirements. Her work has resulted in the development of several advanced airborne sensors, along with associated data processing techniques and target detection algorithms. She holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Delaware. Prior to joining the bureau, she was a Process Technology Engineer for a specialty chemical company that manufactures products in a variety of worldwide markets.
