Mr. Feinberg currently serves as the Section Chief over the FBI’s Body Worn Camera Program. Mr. Feinberg is charged with leading the development and implementation of the new Department of Justice mandate for Federal Agents to wear body worn cameras during certain interactions with the public.

Over the course of his 20 year career, Mr. Feinberg has served in serval FBI Field Offices to include Washington DC, Tucson, AZ and New York City, working a wide range of programs from Counterterrorism, Counterintelligence, Cyber, and Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Mr. Feinberg began his FBI career in 2002 as a Special Agent assigned to the Washington Field Office, where he served as a case agent on the AMERITHRAX Task Force assembled to investigate the anthrax letters mailed to the New York Post, Tom Brokaw, and U.S. Senators Patrick Leahy and Tom Daschle. For his work on the investigation, Mr. Feinberg received the FBI Director’s Award for Outstanding Scientific
Advancement.

Most recently, Mr. Feinberg served as a Section Chief in the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division primarily focused on counterespionage and cyber operation. Mr. Feinberg also served as the Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Technical Branch within the New York Field Office’s Special Operations/Cyber Division. There he oversaw all technical surveillance operations, as well as the undercover program, for the FBI’s
largest field office.

Mr. Feinberg is a New York native and holds a master’s degree in Chemistry from Binghamton University. Before joining the FBI, he was a Trooper with the New York State Police. He is married with two children.
