Richard Sabo is a Senior Advisor with over 10 years of Information Technology experience with the United States Secret Service and 25 years total Information Technology experience, focusing on creative technical solution deliveries that offer high impact, mission focused results.

In July 2019, Mr. Sabo was appointed to the Senior Advisor role of the United States Secret Service Software Solutions Program within the Office of the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for all Application, Data and Platform Support Services the agency operates.

Previously, Mr. Sabo served as the Assistant Division Chief for the Applications Development Section in the Information Resources Management Division. In this position, he was responsible for the agency’s applications that support the daily protective and investigative operations, including: the oversight of the staff, information technology, budget, and development processes.

Mr. Sabo began his federal law enforcement career as a Senior Computer Engineer for the Information Resources Management Division. In this position, he has transformed the agency’s process for integrating software into the Enterprise.

Prior to working at the United States Secret Service, Mr. Sabo served as a Senior Consultant for Computer Sciences Corporation developing Information Technology Solutions for the Department of Homeland Security, Biometric Fusion Center, United States Army and United States Military Processing Command Center. He also served as an Application Architect for Iron Mountain where he led the development and delivery of transformational business technology solutions that catapulted the company to being the leader in Records Management globally.

Mr. Sabo is a native of Yardville, New Jersey. His education consists of graduate studies, Masters Leadership Development Certificate – Norwich University (2020), Masters of Software Engineering – Penn State University (2001) and undergraduate studies, Bachelor Degree in Computer Science – Norwich University, The Military College of Vermont (1996).
