Charles Hardnett has over 25 years of experience in software development, research, software
project management, and higher education. He has worked at organizations such as Nortel,
Georgia Institute of Technology, Spelman College, and Gwinnett Technical College. He is currently
an Applications Architect within the Stakeholder Collaboration team at the First Responder
Network Authority, which is a federal agency responsible for building a broadband cellular
network to serve first responders and public safety. His primary responsibilities fall within
managing solution experience engagements with public safety and developing technical content
for FirstNet’s stakeholders. In addition, he provides technical expertise in a variety of the FirstNet
applications ecosystem which includes mobile, web, and desktop applications, IoT, LBS, PTT,
FirstNet developer program, and Apps Catalog (www.firstnet.gov)
