Arrah Tabe-Bedward, J.D., M.P.S., is Deputy Director in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’
(CMS’) Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMS’ Innovation Center), and has held this role
since October 2016. She previously served as Director of the Medicare Enrollment and Appeals Group
(MEAG) in CMS’ Center for Medicare, and was responsible for eligibility, enrollment and appeals policy
and operations for the Medicare Fee-for-Service, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Prescription Drug
programs. In addition to CMS’ Innovation Center and MEAG, Ms. Tabe-Bedward previously worked in
CMS’ Program Integrity Group and Office of Legislation. Ms. Tabe-Bedward has a J.D. with a Health Law
Certificate from the University of Maryland School of Law and an M.S. in Public Service Management from
DePaul University. She initially joined the federal government as a Presidential Management Fellow.
