Arielle Douglas began her federal civil service career as a contract specialist with the Defense Information Systems Agency and became a warranted contracting officer with the Department of Health and Human Services/Program Support Center. She transitioned into acquisition policy and small business program management with the National Institutes of Health, General Services Administration and Environmental Protection Agency. In her current role as the Deputy Director for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), Arielle leads the implementation and execution of agency-wide small business first-focused policies and processes.

Arielle holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College and a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration and Policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, traveling, and community service activities.
