Robin Collins is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Administration for Children and Families (ACF).
She plays a crucial role in leading and modernizing IT initiatives to support the agency's mission to promote the economic and social well-being of families, children, individuals, and communities.
Previously, Robin served as the Executive Director of the ASFR Response Coordination and Data Integration team (ARC), where she provided leadership and critical thinking in integrating financial data and analysis in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her prior experience includes serving as the acting HHS Deputy Chief Information Officer for Enterprise Services in the Office of the Chief Information Officer. In this role, Robin was recognized as a driving force in managing a comprehensive IT policy and governance portfolio, leading critical initiatives, and maintaining the organization's day-to-day business operations.
Robin's extensive experience in the federal health sector began in 2002 as a member of the inaugural class of the HHS Emerging Leaders Fellows, providing her opportunities to contribute to various projects at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She also worked at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) in the Office of the Chief Information Officer, overseeing and managing the CDC IT portfolio.
Holding an MBA with a concentration in Management Information Systems from the University of Baltimore and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Robin's educational and professional qualifications have been vital in her journey through various significant roles, culminating in her current position as CIO at ACF. Her career is marked by a deep commitment to leveraging technology to enhance public service and improve the welfare of communities.
