The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is still in the early phases of its 2022-2026 Strategic Plan, whose primary goal is protecting and strengthening equitable access to high quality and affordable healthcare.  Another goal is to reduce costs, improve quality of healthcare services, and ensure access to safe medical devices and drugs. Data-driven technology can help HHS improve equity and access to services and enhance the health and well-being of all citizens. Last year, the department’s Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), announced funding to support new data-driven approaches for health centers to identify and reduce health disparities. Data can be a powerful tool that can help inform, improve, and innovate health care delivery and public health interventions. By leveraging data-driven solutions, HHS is working to achieve its mission of enhancing the health and well-being of our nation.
Join this session to hear from leaders across HHS describe initiatives to increase accessibility and reliability of high-quality, usable data to improve citizen satisfaction and health outcomes in a secure fashion.
