As the healthcare ecosystem continues its customer-centric transformation, there is an immense need to incorporate diverse perspectives into the design of public programs and systems. In this session, Human Centered Design (HCD) experts will discuss the importance of equity-focused HCD, or Equity Centered Design (ECD), to improve the health care customer experience, as well as the opportunity for leveraging GenAI technology to address accessibility and inclusion gaps during the design process. During this interactive session, attendees will be encouraged to reflect on how they can deliver more equitable health care experiences for their target consumers. This session will include a GenAI demonstration that will highlight opportunities to leverage synthetic data to learn more from diverse populations during research to inform the design of new healthcare programs and systems. Panelists will also discuss how to responsibly use GenAI for HCD research.
