Maria McClelland is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Cybersecurity Division Director for Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). Prior to joining ORNL, Maria served in the Department of Defense, holding a range of team and leadership roles within the US Army, primarily within the fields of IT and Cybersecurity. After leaving the Army, she served as a Cyber Warfare Officer in the Air National Guard until her retirement in November of 2023. Maria holds degrees in Psychology, Information Technology Management, and Privacy Law, and has several industry certifications including Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
