Greg is currently serving as Associate Deputy CIO for Enterprise Operations and Shared Services at DOE’s Office of the Chief Information Officer’s office. He has over 30 years of military, commercial, and federal IT support/management experience, including 20+ years at DOE as a contractor and a federal employee. In supporting DOE, Greg has held progressive management roles in Information Technology support and service delivery.

Prior to federal employment, Greg was Associate Vice President for IT Operations at Energy Enterprise Solutions providing IT services to the US Department of Energy. Other experience includes management roles at several commercial, “Internet startups,” in the telecom industry (MCI WorldCom), and DOD weapons system and IT support with the former Vitro Corporation.

Greg is a US Navy veteran and has obtained many technical certifications, including ones from PMI, ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, Help Desk 2000, Sybase, and iPlanet (Netscape), & Novell and is currently working on his CISSP.

Greg enjoys working with cars, computers, smart home tech, and has two adult children (a son and a daughter), both of whom live with their families in the area and he really enjoys spending time with his two grandsons.
