Bill Bodine is the Senior IT & Cybersecurity Policy and Strategy Advisor for the Office of Environmental Management (EM) Headquarters Office of Information Systems. Bill is well-known across the Department of Energy (DOE) enterprise and the EM complex for his collaboration on a wide variety of IT, operational technology, and cybersecurity topics, building relationships to support the EM cleanup mission.

Prior to joining DOE in 2022, he provided support for EM as a contractor for more than 20 years, leading and managing multi million dollar per year programs and project teams in cybersecurity, IT strategic planning, cloud computing, enterprise architecture, IT portfolio management, mission systems, systems administration/end user support, sustainability/green IT, and records management. Before his experience with EM, Bill worked in the private sector for AT&T, including roles as Systems Analyst and Project Lead, where he supported a global sales organization.

Mr. Bodine holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Studies from the University of Maryland University College, now University of Maryland Global Campus. He also holds the following certifications: GIAC Strategic Planning, Policy, and Leadership (GSTRT); Project Management Institute Project Management Professional, and NIST Cybersecurity Professional Foundation.
